Cells, Organoids and Biophysics
Cells & organoids
We are pursuing a number of research projects that involve biological cells and organoids. The following is a list with some current research questions and projects which we are working on. We also collaborate with a number of groups at the Heidelberg research campus as well as the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research:
- Methods to transfect cells with nanocarriers.
- Assembly of cells into user-defined organoids using physical fields.
- Stimulating cells with ultrasound.
- Penetration of tissue and cell assemblies with nanopropellers.
- Sonogenetics.
- Microtools to map cancer cells.
- Novel methods to grow tissues.
- Bioprinting of dense cellular structures.
