Welcome to the Fischer Group Micro Nano and Molecular Systems (AG Fischer)

Our group has broad interests in the interaction of acoustic, optical, electric, and magnetic fields with matter at small length scales. We work on new 3-D fabrication methods, self-assembly, actuation, and propulsion. We have observed a number of fundamental effects and are developing new experimental techniques and instruments.

We are part of a new Max Planck Center with South Korea: The Max Planck – Yonsei IBS Center for Deep Tissue Nanoscale Control

Two new Assistant Professors from the group: Hyunah Kwon appointed at Dong-A University in Busan and Yuki Hagiwara at Osaka University. Congrats and best of luck!
