Prof. Dr. Nora Heinzelmann

Nora is Professor of Philosophy and a member of the Faculties of Engineering Sciences and Philosophy. Before joining Heidelberg University, Nora was a junior researcher (postdoc) in Philosophy at the Universities of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Munich (LMU). She has PhD and B.phil. (Master's) degrees in Philosophy from the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, respectively, and an M.phil. (undergraduate) degree in Philosophy, Logic, and Philosophy of Science from LMU. Her long-standing interdisciplinary experience includes, inter alia, research projects in ethics of genetic technology, digitisation, and vaccination in collaboration with the German Cancer Research Center and in neurophilosophy and cognitive science at the Center for Neuroeconomics of the University of Zurich.
