Research

The Selhuber-Unkel group works at the interface of biophysics and biomaterials research, with a strong interest in functional systems. Our particular focus is on responsive and 3D structured materials, as well as bioinspired systems. Soft microrobotics is another recent emphasis of the group, as well as biohybrid systems. Our interdisciplinary approach mainly includes perspectives and expertise in materials science, physics, chemistry, and biology.
